About X-Out

X-Out is a puzzle-platformer created by hpfx and released as freeware in 1999. The game challenges players to navigate grid-based levels, collecting keys, avoiding fire and enemies, and finding the exit marked "OUT".

With 57 community and original levels, a built-in level editor, and clever mechanics like lifts, teleporters, and one-step blocks, X-Out offered surprising depth for a small freeware title of its era.
